I discovered this surreal and eerie gem recently - it has an ambiance like no other so I had to paint it.
"Fantastic Planet" (La Planete Sauvage) is outlandish while being very human; it communicates this through a strange subtlety giving it a thought-provoking mystique lost in film making today.
Also, the animation and soundtrack is an awesomely good (or bad) trip in itself.
